I enjoyed a sunny morning workout in the Foothills of Colorado. Look at that view!
Wind was noticeable but it’s stronger in the high mountains above treeline 25-50mph thanks to an approaching cold front. We saw our first skier caught and carried by a small avalanche on Loveland Pass on Friday 10/29/2021. Wind loading has started.
I’d like to mention these daily forecast videos I do on my Youtube channel. They are focused on mountain weather across the Rocky Mountain West (CO, WY, UT, MT, ID, WA, OR, CA, and NM). Please take a look and subscribe to my channel if you find them valuable. Here’s the video for today, Saturday 10/30.
